Dear Kathy,

The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC) is pleased to be designated the recipient of the proceeds from the 24th annual Guts’n’Pucks Hockey Tournament, scheduled to take place April 22 & 23, 2011 at Oakville Canlan IceSports in Oakville, Ontario.

Net proceeds from this tournament will go towards funding medical research and education programs. These funds will help bring us closer to our mission to find the cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We understand that your team entry fee is $1,084 per team - this includes a $650 registration fee and $434 raffle tickets fee. As in previous years, we will issue an income tax receipt for the maximum allowable portion for the registration fee.

The dedication of the organizers and participants continues to help ensure that medical research into inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) continues, and contributes to ending the pain for over 200,000 Canadian men, women and children who suffer from these terrible diseases.

Over the last 23 years, this event has raised over $500,000!  Our sincere thanks to all involved – your generosity and support is truly appreciated.

Please use this correspondence as a letter of intent to sponsors and donors.  Please co-sign indicating that the information herein is correct and return a copy for our files.
